Make books tweets
One trait all American presidents have shared is a love of reading. Not so with Trump. He does, however, love to tweet. Which is why we decided to tweet him 20 essential books, one 140-character passage at a time. POTUS 101 was a website and Twitter handle that worked in tandem to extract passages from important books and tweet them at Trump in baby doses.
The reading list was compiled by a prestigious group of authors, journalists, professors, historians, and Nobel Prize winners. Users were able to upvote books they thought Trump should read next and donate to the cause. 100% of the proceeds went to First Book, an organization that provides books to disadvantaged children.
